At American Home Contractors (AHC), we are committed to providing you with a transparent and fair estimate for your roofing project. The initial estimate may be subject to adjustments based on various factors determined during a more detailed assessment, ensuring we deliver the highest quality work tailored to the specific needs and conditions of your roof.

Deposit Information

A deposit of $100 is required to secure your roofing project with AHC. This deposit secures your project’s space on our schedule and will be fully applied toward the total cost of your roof package, allowing us to allocate the necessary resources and materials to begin your home improvement journey.

Factors That May Affect Your Estimate

Site Visit: An in-person evaluation by our professionals is crucial to assess the condition of your roof and identify any specific challenges or requirements.
Roof Pitch or Steepness: The angle of your roof can significantly impact the complexity and safety requirements of the project, potentially affecting the cost.
Existing Quantity of Roofing Layers: Additional layers of roofing material may require more labor and disposal, influencing the final estimate.
Ability to Roof Load New Shingles: The feasibility of staging and loading shingles onto your roof directly impacts our approach and the project timeline.
Existing Pipes and Ventilation Systems: The presence and condition of pipes and ventilation systems may require special accommodations or modifications.
Roof Complexity: Features such as multiple valleys, peaks, and the overall complexity of your roof design can affect the amount of labor and materials needed.
Material Requirements: The estimate assumes your existing roof is asphalt or that you are opting for an asphalt replacement. Our package does not cover flat roofs or other materials.
Exclusions: The replacement of existing plywood or planking is not included in the initial estimate. Any necessary replacements will be identified during the site visit and quoted separately at the time of installation.
