Maryland Refunds – 5 business Day Right of Rescission, If homeowner is over 65 years of age the Right of Rescission is extended to 7 business days total.
Virginia & Pennsylvania Refunds – 3 business Days Right of Rescission.
For any other state please refer to your state’s legal right to cancel.
Any purchases made at www.AmericanHomeContractors.com for home services to be delivered on a future date, including but not limited to remodeling of a residential home may be canceled for any reason, and a full refund issued as per state code following the sale. The customer will be required to contact American Home Contractors dba American Home Contractors in writing, providing receipt and identification. Upon proof of purchase, a full refund will be issued in the form/currency of the original payment. This refund may take 7-10 days to process.
Refunds
American Home Contractors, dba American Home Contractors will provide a refund of deposits paid for remodeling packages offered at www.AmericanHomeContractors.com, as well as other e-commerce platforms directly owned by and exclusively operated by American Home Contractors, dba American Home Contractors. Further American Home Contractors, dba American Home Contractors will provide a refund for purchases made in any of our locations, stores, offices, and in the customer’s home. Refunds schedules are as follows:
1.) Following the Right of Rescission Period, the customer may receive a full refund of monies paid up to the date of the home inspection. The home inspection is defined as the on-site inspection of the residential home to be remodeled by American Home Contractors dba American Home Contractors.
2.) Following the residential home inspection by American Home Contractors dba American Home Contractors the customer is entitled to a full refund less a $499.00 home inspection and design fee up to the inception of agreed-upon work as defined in the “Remodeling Contract” agreement.
3.) Following the agreement and signature of the “Remodeling Contract” agreement, and inception of the work at the customer’s residential home, there are no further provisions for refund. Deposits collected, and the remainder of the balance of the “Remodel Contract” agreement shall be due, per the superseding agreement. “Remodeling Contract”.
