I had initially called American Home Contractors because I wanted to sign up for their $150 roof tuneup package I saw advertised. The neighbors across the street noticed several of our shingles flapping in the wind during a storm and told us about it.

Mike came out to do the roof tuneup a few days ago and he was already wearing a mask and kept it on the entire time which I appreciated not even having to ask. He let me know he saw a ton of weather damage up there and recommended a project manager to come out to estimate a full roof removal and installation. What drew me in particularly was that I was told that American Home Contractors will privately work with your homeowners insurance throughout the entire process to negotiate everything.

I worked with Project Coordinator John Roda who could not have been more personable and patient with my questions. I was very meticulous too and at the end of the day I was told that barring any extraneous materials cost due to contingencies like additional wood if they found wood rot or double shingles, basically stuff they couldn’t find out until they tore the roof off, the entire project would be covered by insurance minus our deductible which was $1000.

And it truly did end up that way. The roofers came 7am and got to work right away and were completely done, packed up, and cleaned up the entire lawn and area by 5pm. The roof looks beautiful. American Home Contractors followed through and literally did handle working with the insurance company. I was barely involved. My roof did end up only costing me net out of pocket my deductible of $1000. Homeowners insurance paid the rest. This was a 10/10 experience with the smoothest and most impressive path of conducted business I’ve ever had with a contractor for a multi-thousand dollar home project. I would 100% recommend John Roda and American Home Contractors for any and all contracting services that they provide.

Zack and his team were great. The quote was the lowest out of three and the crew was prompt and professional. Roof looks great and now the upstairs level feels a lot cooler than before. It looked so good, two of my neighbors at also replaced their roof. I would highly recommend ahc.

Joshua Dunevant was excellent in going above and beyond to explain the issues with my roof & gutters. He gave me a fair and honest quote. They worked with my insurance and kept in the loop through the entire process. The work that was done was excellent and highly recommend them ask for Joshua
