Roofing Installation Process and Steps

1. You will receive a call with a delivery date for your material. Please keep your driveway clear that day. Installation usually starts within days of the delivery (weather permitting).
2. Remove existing shingles down to the plywood; inspect wood. Rotten or damaged wood will be replaced, quote on sight, upon customer notification.
3. Furnish and install drip edge where applicable.
4. Install Ice and Water Shield at the starter course, in valleys, and around skylights and chimneys.
5. Install water resistant felt paper.
6. Install shingles over felt paper.
7. Install ridge vent and roof vents where applicable.
8. Install flashing where necessary using non-corrosive flashing products.
9. Replace all vent stack collars.
10. Pick up loose nails with magnetic rake.
11. Clean up and haul away all job related debris.

Please remove any valuables hanging on your walls as they may become unstable during the construction process.
